Some in GOP Push Immigration Reform

Republicans aren?t giving up the Latino vote that easily. After years of resistance, some members of the party are now saying that they?ll explore a path to citizenship for about 11 million people in the United States illegally. President Obama has said that he has spoken with members of Congress on the issue and plans to introduce a bill ?very soon? after the beginning of his second term. ?For too long, both parties have used immigration as a political wedge issue,? said Republican Florida Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart. ?But the time has come to find a bipartisan solution.?
